Riecha graduated from Nottingham University with a BA in Politics. She then went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law followed by the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. In the year leading up to her training contract, Riecha worked for an aluminium systems company in New Delhi, India and travelled around India, Namibia, East Timor and Mexico.

Riecha enjoys live music, learning Spanish and travelling, particularly to India and South America.
