Paolo is an associate in the firm's International Trademark and Copyright Protection Group where he first worked as a trainee. His practice covers all aspects of Intellectual Property Law, with particular experience in trade marks, designs, anti-counterfeiting and domain name issues. Paolo also provides advice in connection with commercial contracts and agreements, including in relation to a sports team.
Paolo’s practice includes all aspects of trade mark and brand protection from clearance searches, filing and prosecution to enforcement throughout Europe and Worldwide. He also has considerable experience in trade mark, company name and domain name disputes and where appropriate, the negotiation of settlement agreements.
Prior to qualification, Paolo was seconded to the Legal department at Harrods where he was actively involved in the Intellectual Property and wide range of Commercial issues that arose.
In the course of his time on secondment in-house and also in private practice, Paolo has been responsible for the management of a large portfolio of famous and valuable trade marks and domain names for major multinational companies.
