Paolo is an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property department where he began his career as a trainee.
Paolo advises a wide range of clients including media, gaming and technology companies, from start-ups, entrepreneurs and independent developers to the largest companies worldwide. As a keen sports fan, Paolo also enjoys advising sports teams and high profile sport professionals.
Paolo’s practice covers a broad range of IP and commercial issues, including all aspects of brand and product protection, exploitation and enforcement. Paolo also advises on gaming issues, including those relating to video games as well as gambling, promotions and competitions.
Additionally, Paolo has transactional experience, and supports the firm’s corporate department on the related IP and data protection issues that arise. Paolo has also advised on E-Commerce, Online/Distance Selling and related Consumer Rights issues throughout Europe.
Paolo is involved in several pro-bono initiatives including the Own-It organisation where he advises individuals, start-ups and small companies in the creative industries, and particularly media clients, in connection with a broad range of IP and commercial law issues.
Previously, Paolo was seconded to the Legal department at Harrods where he advised all aspects of the business in connection with the wide range of IP and commercial issues that arose.
